Projects Overview
Wiluna is a very large mineralized gold system with an endowment of approximately 10 million ounces, located in Western Australia, approximately 750km northeast of Perth. Wiluna Mining has consolidated the concessions around Wiluna, at the northern tip of the Yilgarn Craton, into one giant tenement package covering over 1,600 square kilometres. The Yilgarn Craton has a historic and current gold endowment of over 380 Moz, making it one of the most prolific gold regions in the world.
The Wiluna Mining Operation has produced over 4Moz of gold and has a JORC 2012 resource of 78Mt @ 2.19g/t for 5.5Moz of gold.
The Wiluna Mining Operation comprises 20 open pits and 3 underground mines.
All existing mines are within 20 kilometres of the Wiluna processing facility and all ore is currently treated at Wiluna’s Gold Plant.
In addition to the mining centres, the Company has identified more than 70 high-potential exploration prospects within its substantial land package.
